openDAQ Launches Working Groups

Nils Röttger

8/26/2024

The openDAQ team is excited to announce the upcoming first call for registrations to join our working groups. The initial working group will focus on "Data Integrity and Alignment," a crucial topic for anyone working with data from multiple devices.

Before the registration process begins on August 30th, we would like to provide some details about how these working groups will be structured and managed.

All content generated by the working groups, including meeting minutes and decisions, will be publicly accessible at openDAQ Working Groups. This platform will also serve as the hub for discussion forums and draft materials. While these resources will be viewable by everyone, only working group members will have the ability to contribute. Membership in a working group is open to all Premium Members, highlighting the commitment to openDAQ  and ensuring that the group stays focused on achieving its objectives efficiently.

Exceptions may be made when openDAQ invites relevant stakeholders or when non-premium members present a valid reason for joining during the registration process.

We anticipate questions regarding the involvement of HBK and DEWESoft. It’s important to clarify that the working groups will be hosted and moderated by openDAQ to ensure neutrality. Although HBK and DEWESoft will participate as members, they will have the same level of influence as any other participant in the group.

Stay tuned for more details on the first working group, coming soon.
