openDAQ works with companies in three ways: membership, engineering services and product certification. None of them is needed to use the SDK, which is free under Apache 2.0.

What each one covers
Membership combines support, product testing and engineering in a yearly package. Services can be added to any level.
Which do I need?
Find yourself in one of these
If none of them describes you then the discovery call is free and frequently ends with us saying you do not need us yet.
“We are just evaluating.”
Use the SDK, the documentation and the free discovery call. That is what they are for.
“We need one specific thing built.”
Buy that service on its own. Custom module development is delivered as source you own with tests and documentation.
“We have a product going to customers.”
Certification turns “compatible” into a claim an integrator can check before they plan a system around you.
“We are buying our third thing this year.”
That is the point where a service bundle makes sense. One scope, one price and one offer for the whole path.
“We are integrating openDAQ across our products.”
That is what membership is for. Premium adds testing of up to 10 products and priority maintenance. Diamond adds a dedicated engineer.
