Get Hands-on with openDAQ – Join Our First Workshop!

We are excited to announce our first openDAQ Hands-on Workshop, taking place online on 3 December 2026.

This three-hour workshop is designed for software developers, test engineers, and system integrators who want to explore openDAQ through practical experience.

Rather than sitting through presentations, you will spend the afternoon writing real code, working with openDAQ-compatible devices, and building your own application.

What will you learn?

The workshop focuses on using openDAQ from the application side. You will learn how to connect to compatible measurement devices, configure them, acquire data, and use the openDAQ API in your own projects.

During the workshop, you will:

• Understand the core openDAQ concepts and architecture.
• Discover and configure openDAQ-compatible devices.
• Read and stream live measurement data.
• Write a simple script using the openDAQ API.
• Build a basic application around openDAQ.
• Use openDAQ's built-in data-processing functionality.
• Work with multiple devices, channels, and signals simultaneously.

By the end of the workshop, you will have working code and the practical experience needed to evaluate openDAQ for your own projects.

Who should attend?

The workshop is intended for anyone interested in developing applications around measurement devices, particularly:

• Software developers looking to integrate measurement devices into their applications.
• Test engineers interested in automating measurement workflows and working with devices from different manufacturers.
• System integrators building solutions that combine multiple devices, channels, and signals.

Some programming experience is recommended. You do not need previous experience with openDAQ.

This first workshop focuses on application development, rather than implementing openDAQ on hardware.
